Wild chamomile from open mountain fields, collected by hand at peak bloom. Flowers are smaller than farmed varieties but noticeably more aromatic. Dried immediately after picking.

Sourcing area

Open mountain meadows and field margins throughout the central Caucasus highland zone, 900–1,600m.

Minimum order

50g dried flower heads.

Lead time

Contact by May for June–August harvest. Fresh-season stock available from July onward.

Harvest variability

Flower head size varies by elevation. Higher-altitude chamomile is smaller and more aromatic. Yield depends on spring rainfall.

Quality variability

Flower colour from white to pale yellow. Aroma intensity varies between elevations — highland batches are noticeably stronger than lowland equivalents.

Storage / shelf life

Sealed tin or glass, cool and dark. 12 months from dispatch.

Packaging

Loosely packed kraft bag — flower heads are not compressed. Plain outer mailer.

No known restrictions for dried chamomile in any standard export market.
