Boletus edulis collected from mixed oak and pine forest above 1,200m in the Borjomi and Bakuriani highlands. Picked in the morning and available for collection the same day. Dense, firm cap with clean forest floor aroma. No preservation — best consumed within 24 hours.

Lead time

Fresh porcini cannot be pre-ordered — availability depends entirely on current forest conditions. Contact in September to be placed on the same-day notification list.

Harvest variability

Highly variable. Good season: 3–4 picking days per week, September through October. Poor season: 1–2 days, shorter window. Weather in August heavily influences fruiting.

Quality variability

Cap size ranges 4–14cm. Smaller caps are more uniform in density. All specimens are checked for firmness and clean smell before collection.

Storage / shelf life

No preservation. Consume within 24 hours. Wrap in paper and keep cool — do not seal in plastic.

Packaging

Collected in breathable mesh bag. No plastic. Buyer may bring their own container.

Import restrictions

Fresh mushrooms cannot be exported internationally. Collection in Tbilisi or Borjomi area only.
