Georgian Serpentine Slab

raw or surface-polished, sized to order

Quarried from the mountain belt of western Georgia. Deep green with pale vein patterns — each slab is unique. Used as decorative panels, tabletops, or display pieces. Weight and dimensions confirmed before invoicing.

Sourcing area

Quarried from the ophiolite belt of western Georgia — predominantly the Racha and Imereti mountain zones.

Minimum order

1 slab. No minimum weight.

Lead time

Dimensions and weight are confirmed before invoicing. Larger commissions (e.g. tabletops over 60×90cm) require 3–4 weeks cutting lead time.

Quality variability

Each slab is geologically unique. Vein patterns, green depth, and surface texture all vary. Photos of available stock sent on request before purchase.

Storage / shelf life

Stone requires no special storage. Sealed or polished surfaces should be kept dry. Outdoor use is possible — freeze-thaw is the main durability concern.

Packaging

Custom foam-lined wooden crate per order. Weight and crate dimensions confirmed before freight quote.

Import restrictions

No restrictions. Stone goods are freely traded.

Notes

Freight cost is a significant component of the final price on large slabs. Confirm dimensions before ordering so freight can be estimated accurately.
