June – July

Linden

flowers and leaves

Picked at the height of bloom from old-growth linden groves in the foothills. Flower clusters and young leaves are dried together. Mild, faintly sweet, and widely used as a calming tea.

Sourcing area

Old-growth linden groves in the sub-alpine foothills of central and western Georgia, 600–1,000m.

Minimum order

100g dried weight.

Lead time

Contact by May for June–July bloom. The harvest window is 2–3 weeks per year — orders outside this period use prior-season stock.

Harvest variability

Flower yield depends on spring temperature and timing. Late frosts can significantly reduce bloom density in a given year.

Quality variability

Flower colour ranges from cream to pale gold. Aroma is mild and consistent. Older stock fades in scent faster than other botanicals.

Storage / shelf life

Sealed glass or tin, away from light. 9–12 months from dispatch. Best within 6 months for full floral aroma.

Packaging

Kraft inner bag, plain outer mailer. Fragile flower clusters are not vacuum-sealed to avoid compression.

Import restrictions

No known restrictions for dried flower material in standard export markets.
