Thorny shrubs along mountain river valleys in the Caucasus range, primarily Kakheti and Samegrelo regions.

Minimum order

200g including branches.

Lead time

Contact by August for September–November harvest. Berries are highly seasonal and not available outside harvest window.

Harvest variability

Berry yield depends heavily on prior spring conditions. Some years produce heavier clusters; in poor years, branches are sold without berries.

Quality variability

Berry colour is consistent orange. Flavour intensity varies — colder harvest years produce sharper, more vitamin-rich berries.

Storage / shelf life

Dried berries: 12 months sealed. Fresh: consume within 3 days of collection.

Packaging

Wrapped in breathable kraft paper; larger orders in cardboard box.
