Distilled in Kakheti from the pomace of Rkatsiteli grapes by a small family distillery in the Telavi district.

Contact to confirm current batch availability. Each release is a single distillation run — once sold out, the next batch is the following harvest year.

Harvest variability

Pomace quality reflects the grape harvest year. Excellent vintages produce chacha with more pronounced varietal character. Proof (55–60% ABV) is consistent regardless of harvest.

Quality variability

Clear spirit with consistent colour. Aroma varies slightly by vintage — look for the harvest year on the label.

Storage / shelf life

Indefinite in sealed bottle. Once opened, best consumed within 12 months for full aroma. Does not require refrigeration.

Packaging

500ml glass bottle, sealed with wax. Label includes producer name and harvest year.

Import restrictions

Alcohol cannot be shipped to all countries. Prohibited destinations include some US states, many Muslim-majority countries, and others with domestic alcohol regulations. Buyer is responsible for import compliance.

Notes

At 55–60% ABV this is a spirit, not a light drink. Traditionally consumed neat, at room temperature, in small quantities at the Georgian feast table.
