Collected from high-altitude meadows above 1,800m. Intensely aromatic — far more concentrated than cultivated mint. Used across the Caucasus in teas, cooking, and home remedies.

Sourcing area

High-altitude meadows above 1,800m in the Greater Caucasus — primarily Kazbegi and Gudauri highland zones.

Minimum order

100g dried weight.

Lead time

Contact by June for July–September harvest allocation. Post-season orders filled from current stock while available.

Harvest variability

Yield varies considerably with rainfall. Drought years produce lower volume but higher aromatic intensity. Wet summers give higher yield with slightly milder character.

Quality variability

Leaf colour ranges from pale grey-green to deep olive depending on drying conditions. Aroma is consistent batch to batch.

Storage / shelf life

Sealed glass or tin, away from light and moisture. 12 months at full potency from dispatch.

Packaging

Vacuum-sealed kraft inner bag inside a plain outer mailer. Custom labelling available on request.
