Cut from forest-edge thickets at elevation. Branches arrive with leaves and dried berries intact. Both the leaves and berries carry distinct medicinal value and are used together in traditional Georgian teas.

Sourcing area

Forest-edge thickets in the foothills of the eastern and central Caucasus, 800–1,400m elevation.

Minimum order

100g dried weight.

Lead time

Contact by July for August–October harvest. Branch material is cut to order and dried — allow 2–3 weeks for processing.

Harvest variability

Branch length and berry density vary by site and season. Leaf quality is more consistent than berry yield.

Quality variability

Some variation in stem thickness and leaf-to-berry ratio between batches. All batches include both leaf and berry material.

Storage / shelf life

Sealed container, away from light. 12 months from dispatch.

Packaging

Bundled and wrapped in kraft paper. Larger orders boxed with tissue packing.
