The chapi is the traditional Georgian wine ladle, used to serve from the qvevri at feast. Carved from dense mountain boxwood. Each piece is slightly different in form — the marks of the carver's tool are intentionally left visible.

Cut from walnut burl growths in the forests of the South Caucasus. Exceptionally figured grain — sought by luthiers, furniture makers, and turners. Moisture content and dimensions confirmed before invoicing. Available in small blocks or larger slabs.

Turned from offcuts of Georgian mountain boxwood — one of the densest hardwoods in the region. Smooth, close-grained surface that needs no finish. A practical daily object with unusual material character.
